EXHIBITIONS

Our projects investigate algae as aesthetic, ecological, and philosophical agents, foundational life forms that continue to shape planetary systems. Through exhibitions, workshops, publications, and immersive installations, we amplify algae’s role in climate resilience, atmospheric balance, and multispecies kinship. Each Algae Society exhibition is collaboratively developed and designed by our collective envisioning; the local member host is responsible for coordinating the show and building additional regional programming that reflects the specificities of place. This distributed model ensures that each exhibition is unique, rooted in its site of presentation, and responsive to its audiences.
